Iran’s animation ‘Not Winter’ wins in Italy

Iranian animation ‘Not Winter’ has garnered the Best Animation Film Award at the monthly competition of the Assurdo Film Festival in Italy.

Whereas the animation is about devotion and self-scarifying, the director Hassan Mokhtari granted his award to the medical teams who are fighting coronavirus in Iran.

Mokhtari’s animation won the award of festival’s March competition. Monthly winners will be awarded in a final annual ceremony as well.

The Assurdo festival focuses on the films that present an alternative vision of reality and are about encounter between people.
